Dr. Ginger’s originally reached out to Bent Creative to work on website content and take over from a previous service provider. It was discovered that drgingers.com was built upon the Shopify platform and was severely limited in its abilities to grow without the constant nuisance of paying for monthly plugin add-ons and updates; and the design options were severely limited to templates and (expensive) developers that know Shopify’s native coding language.We decided to migrate to the WordPress + WooCommerce platform, and along the way decided upon new photography, new copywriting, an extended blog section (for SEO and organic traffic), completely redesigned pages, a new sales angle, and an upgraded shopping experience.
